Well, no doubt many people who are reading this are already microcar fans. No doubt a lot of you already own an original 1950’s microcar. Being a microcar collector is an addiction. A healthy one! “my names Nathan and I am a microcar addict…”
No matter which country they are driven in- they are greeted with smiles and waves from adults and children alike. When parked they draw a bigger crowd than a Ferrari or Lamborghini. I am sure anybody who has the microcar bug does so for the following reasons.
For many years, all the above reasons were a well kept secret amongst the microcar fraternity.
It seems these days, there is a new found interest in microcars- perhaps due to a generation of ecologically aware citizens, perhaps due to an ever increasing gridlock on the roads- and lack of parking spaces, perhaps due to soaring fuel prices, whatever the reasons- judging by the demand and current values of traditional microcars- it appears microcars may well have a hey day once again.
