Harrington Junior

Classic vehicles have been Director Nathan Redfearn's life, with 18 yrs experience of restoration of both classic cars, scooters and motorcycles he also designed and put into production a 'real' car - the ISH Toyota based kit car. He is in his own words: "a classic vehicle obsessive….."
We have set out with the single idea of producing the finest quality toys available in the world.
It seems most people have had enough of cheap plastic mass produced throwaway toys which end up in the trash within less than a year..
It's a known fact that high quality toys of the past are a certain investment. There is also the wonderful romantic notion of passing a quality toy onto generations to come.
All Dads who are passionate about vehicles (Mums too!) want to instill that sense of passion into their kids- lets face it- we all fear our kids will become couch potatoes spending too much time in front of the TV or the play station.
So give them a toy that drags them outside at every opportunity come rain or shine- give them something that is an object of beauty and of the finest quality that is also a lot of fun- that same passion you have for vehicles- will quickly become their passion too. The responsibility of maintenance and servicing in itself will be a valuable education in the basics of mechanics and how things work.
We have pooled all of the 5 Harrington group of company's areas of expertise to create individual hand built toys of the highest possible quality.
All our models are made of top grade hand formed composite.
This means they will never degrade- even in 80 years time!
All metal components are either chrome plated and lacquered or polished stainless steel- no corrosion here!
All the finished bodyshells are painted in high quality ICI 2K Paint.
All our toys are 100 percent serviceable, upgradeable and all individual parts can be removed without causing damage to any area.
All our toys come with individual chassis numbers and owners papers.

We have an ever increasing and close knit team of professionals, below are some details of the Key Players- in alphabetical order.

The Team

	Ai- Ai is in charge of painting- Always grinning from ear to ear!
	Dat- is our chief mechanic, what he doesn't know about engines and assembly aint worth knowing! Background is scooter restoration.
	Dat- (another Dat) Website designer, this website is all his work! Also involved with electrical design and engineering. Has successfully finished 2 degree courses in both the above fields.
	Do- A very hard working and proficient mechanic, really enjoys modifying a motor to squeeze every last ounce of power out of it.
	Hau- Hau is in charge of all our aluminium casting. We sub contract all our casting and aluminium final finishing to Hau, His family have been casting aluminium for generations.
	Hieu- Hieu was the very first employee at Harrington Group. His background is racing go cart design and building. He has built many international racing go carts. He is in charge of chassis design, and assembly management. A very skilled driver (but a hopeless motorbike rider- always crashing!)
	Hung- Hung trained in Cambodia many years ago how to work with stainless steel- he had a 14yr apprenticeship! He once again is an artist- He is manager and teacher at our stainless steel factory, producing all our classic car bumpers and trim for all the toys.
	Huy- Huy is Hieu's younger brother. Always laughing! His job is negotiator and buyer. Everything from a wheel bearing to a beautiful chrome switch has been sourced by him- understands the quality and style required. Does a staggering amount of riding around collecting parts- helping to run in our scooters.
	Huynh- A.K.A Super Star! Picture in his school uniform - He is 7 years old. As soon as he arrives home from school- he runs around to our workshops to drive the toys! He has become a very competent driver - The Fangio of the future?
	Manh- Composite manager and trainer. Has also an incredible grasp of languages. Is learning english from a book with incredible results!
	Ly- Our own wonder woman. Director, Manager, Recruiter, Customer service manager, etc etc… Makes the whole operation work! Trained as a professional Violinist 16 yrs before turning her hand to business. THE BOSS!!
	Nathan- Director and designer. OBSESSIVE about classic vehicles! The workshop is his heaven.
	Ngoc- Worked for 16yrs as a metal worker- came thoroughly recommended, very skilled welder and fabricator.
	Ninh- Since school Ninh has been working with wood. He is responsible for all the woodwork (such as steering wheels, floors) in our toys. He also is learning composite production.
	Phu - Phu, where do I start? A genius with his hands. Finished an 8 yr product design degree and came to work with us. His eye to hand coordination is out of this world. Changes his hairstyle most months! Very very serious until he has a beer and becomes the Harrington Clown!
	Phu- Phu is the company accountant, he breaks the bad news to us- like how much our toys cost to make ;o(
	Sascha - Our Sale and Marketing manager.
	Shawn- A.K.A. Hawkeye- In charge of marketing in the USA, also has a Hawks eye for PDI quality control. Also grew up on Hawaii and pines for the surf….
	Son- Son is an incredibly hard working mechanic and assembler. He's the quiet guy- until he has had a beer or two- at which point he shows off pulling stunts on his vespa!
	Thuy- Ly's Aunt keeps us all happy by making delicious lunches, Also in charge of money and vetting the streams of workshop visitors we get……
	Tho- Ai's older bother who has recently joined us- he is being trained in composite production. He recently moved here to the city, having grown up in the countryside.
	Tuan- Tuan is Manh's younger brother- Not long left school, used to come and watch his brother working all day- So we offered him a job! He has more enthusiasm for our toys than he can possibly contain. Walks around the workshops shaking his head and saying "very beautiful". Has become a very competent test driver! After work- he is found in the workshop, on days off he is here- He has found his dream job!
Pump- Pump is the Harrington Mascot. He is a 2yr old spider monkey. A complexed character- behaves differently with everybody! A very amusing and happy little chap. His favourite thing is to sit on the shoulders of Nathan and go for a long motorbike ride….	Click on images to enlarge..

Cong- Cong has been retrimming classic car interiors since the 1960s. A wizard with a sowing machine!
Tau- Thuy's son who when not studying- enjoys getting his hands dirty helping out everybody and learning new skills.
